Instructions for joining CorrelAid Netherlands as a volunteer
Joining CorrelAid Netherlands consists of a two-step process that you can do in any order:
Subscribe to the CorrelAid volunteer newsletter Sign up via the main website: https://www.correlaid.org/en/newsletter/. Make sure to check the box for updates from CorrelAidX Nederland/Netherlands so that you also get specific local updates in addition to general news.
Join our local community on Slack Sign up using this form: https://forms.gle/vkoAH7uguJacF6WY7
Both these steps are also listed on our regular website at https://correlaid.nl/getinvolved/.
By completing these two steps, you will be added to our network of volunteer data enthusiasts and start getting updates about our activities. More importantly, you will receive opportunities to participate in our data science for social good projects.

What happens next?
Once you sign up in our local Slack community, our Crew (core team) will then reach out to you for an on-boarding call. Depending on schedules, this can either be a one-to-one video call or a session together with other new volunteers.

The main way to stay in contact is via the mailing list and our Slack workspace, but we also periodically share updates via social media.
