CorrelAid Netherlands is a fully volunteer-led organisation, and our strength likes in the passion and skills of people like you. We are always looking for new crew members to keep the community thriving.

This page outlines examples of roles you could take on. If you have others ideas about how you would like to contribute, we would love to hear them.

• Project Developer / Coordinator

  • Scope new projects with non-profit partners and coordinate ongoing projects.

  • Our projects are staffed by CorrelAid volunteers, but the crew plays a key role in bringing in and coordinating these projects. Although these roles can be split, they are often combined due to the benefit of having already established a relationship with the project partner during the scoping phase.

• Content Creator

  • Are you passionate about storytelling and digital communication? Help us create engaging content to showcase our work and impact.

  • Currently CorrelAid Netherlands has a relatively modest presence on social media. Expanding our communication efforts would be a valuable contribution to the core team. We are looking for someone creative to help us grow in this area and better share what we do with the world.

• Website Developer

  • Support the development and maintenance of our website to ensure a seamless digital experience for our community.

  • Our main website is hosted using GitHub Pages and is built using Jekyll. There is scope for both technical development (of the template code base) and more design oriented work.

  • Skills: HTML, Jekyll, git

• Community Manager

  • Help expand our network by connecting with both our existing volunteer base and prospective new volunteers.

  • Traditionally we have grown our network of data enthusiasts organically, but a more planned and focused approach here would certainly improve both our reach and engagement levels.

• Partner Outreach

  • Reach out to potential non-profit partners for future projects.

  • This is the step prior to project development, where we make new connections with organisations looking to do good in the world.

• Legal Counsel

  • Provide and/or arrange advice on legal matters.

  • When CorrelAid Netherlands was founded, we set up our legal entity, contracts and general approach to be aligned with the applicable legal frameworks (e.g. GDPR/AVG). It would be beneficial to take another look at our contact templates
